🧡 A Bright Light Fighting for Every Breath
This is the story of Ijlal Lone—lovingly called Ali by his family—a bright, kind-hearted 13-year-old boy from the breathtaking mountains of Gilgit, Pakistan. He is a 5th-grade student who consistently stands first in his class, but a hidden battle is stealing his childhood.
A Hidden Battle Since Childhood
At age 3, the first signs appeared—constant coughing and shortness of breath. After years of uncertainty, the diagnosis came: Cystic Fibrosis, a chronic, life-threatening lung disease. For nearly a decade, Ali has learned to breathe through pain, take handfuls of medication, and miss school for hospital visits.
A Family’s Endless Struggle
Ijlal’s father, a government driver, has poured everything into his son’s treatment. Every penny of savings has been spent, loans have been taken, and household items sold. The extreme cold of Gilgit’s winters worsens Ali’s condition, forcing the family to temporarily relocate every year just so he can survive.
Today: A Race Against Time
Ijlal’s condition has worsened. Basic tasks like walking leave him gasping for air. He now requires regular oxygen support and life-saving medications. His family is emotionally and financially exhausted, with nothing left but faith in your kindness.
What Ijlal Dreams About
Despite everything, Ali still dreams. He wants to go back to school, win another speech competition, and play cricket. He often tells his mother: “Ammi, when I get better, I’ll become a doctor and treat kids like me… so no one has to feel like this again.”

یہ کہانی اجلال لون کی ہے، جسے اس کا خاندان پیار سے علی کہتا ہے۔ گلگت، پاکستان کے خوبصورت پہاڑوں کا یہ 13 سالہ بچہ، ایک ذہین اور روشن ستارہ ہے جو اپنی جماعت میں ہمیشہ اول آتا ہے۔ اس کا خواب ڈاکٹر بن کر اپنے جیسے بچوں کا علاج کرنا ہے۔
لیکن بچپن سے ہی علی سسٹک فائبروسس (Cystic Fibrosis) جیسی جان لیوا پھیپھڑوں کی بیماری سے لڑ رہا ہے۔ اس کے والد، جو ایک عام ڈرائیور ہیں، اپنے بیٹے کے علاج کے لیے اپنا سب کچھ قربان کر چکے ہیں۔ آج اجلال کی حالت تشویشناک ہے اور اسے باقاعدہ آکسیجن اور مہنگی ادویات کی ضرورت ہے۔ اس کے خاندان کے پاس اب امید کے سوا کچھ نہیں بچا ہے۔
